Electric Treasure for the  Power Distribution Transformers

S13-M Distribution Transformer

  Number of Phase

  • Single-Phase Transformer: Used for single-phase load and three-phase transformer group.
  • Three-Phase Transformer: Used for three-phase system the rise and fall of voltage.

 Cooling Way

  • Dry Type Transformer: rely on the natural air convection cooling or increase the cooling fan, used in high-rise buildings, more high-speed toll site and local lighting electricity, electronic circuit and other small capacity transformer. Such as: SCB10, SCB11 Series.
  • Oil-Immersed Transformer: Rely on oil as cooling medium, such as oil-immersed natural cooling and oil-immersed forced-air cooling, oil immersion cooling, forced oil circulation, etc. Such as: S11, / S13 – M Series.

 Use

  • Power Transformer: Used for the rise and fall of voltage transmission and distribution system.
  • Instrument Transformer: Such as voltage transformer, current transformer, used for measuring instrument and relay protection device.
  • Test Transformer: Can produce high voltage, electrical equipment for high voltage test.
  • Special Transformer, such as electric furnace transformer, rectifier transformer, adjust transformer, capacitor, phase shifting transformer, etc.
    Winding Form
  • Double Winding Transformer: Used to connect two voltage grade of power system.
  • Three Winding Transformer: generally used in the regional power system transformer substation, connecting the three voltage levels.
  • The Self Coupling Transformer: Used to connect to different voltage of power system. Also can be used as ordinary booster or fall after the transformer.

 Core Form

  • Core Transformer: Used for high voltage power transformer.
  • Amorphous Alloy Transformer: Amorphous alloy iron core transformer is to use new magnetic materials, no-load current fell about 80%, energy saving effect is ideal distribution transformer, especially suitable for rural power grids and developing regions such as load rate is low.
  • Shell Type Transformer: Used for large current special transformer, such as the electric furnace transformer, electric welding transformer; Or used in electronic instruments, TV, radio power transformer, etc.

 Characteristic Parameter

  • SCB10-Series-Working Frequency: Because of the large transformer core loss and frequency relations should be used according to the frequency to design and use of the frequency according to the working frequency.
  • Power Rating: Under the rules of frequency and voltage transformer can work for a long time, but not in excess of the prescribed temperature rise of output power.
  • Rated Voltage: Refers to on the transformer coil voltage is allowed, work shall not be greater than the specified value.
  • Voltage Than: Refers to the transformer primary voltage and the ratio of secondary voltage, no-load voltage ratio and the load voltage ratio of the difference.
  • No-Load Current: Transformer secondary open-circuit, primary still has certain current, this part of the current called the no-load current. No-load current from magnetizing current (flux) and iron loss current (caused by core loss). For 50 Hz power supply transformer no-load current basically equal to the magnetizing current.
  • No-Load Loss: Refers to the transformer secondary open-circuit, measured in primary power loss. The main loss is the core loss, followed by the no-load current on the primary coil copper resistance loss (copper loss), this part of the loss is very small.
  • Efficiency: Refers to the secondary power P2 and P1 ratio is the percentage of primary power. Usually transformer rated power is larger, the higher the efficiency.
  • Insulation Resistance: Said transformer various between coils, each coil and iron core insulation performance. The discretion of the insulation resistance and insulating materials used by performance, degree of temperature and humidity.
